ReplyDeleteGarden flower seed sowing can start if the climate is well disposed and a general compost at around 2 ozs. to the sq. yd. should be worked into the bed for annuals and half-hardies.Gardeners in the south, who have solidified off their sweet pea seedlings, can now plant them out amid a gentle spell. Those in the north should be more patient. The drills ought to be watered the day already and the roots deliberately unraveled before planting.
