It's Thursday again, so here is an online link to this week's The List: Top 5 Home & Garden Events on page 25 of today's print edition in the Washington Examiner. This being a holiday weekend, the local event pickings are slim as most public gardens expect you to be busy with visiting with friends and family. Myself? I am joining a few colleagues from the Garden Writers group for an informal gathering at Nemours Mansion & Gardens in DE. We are getting a sneak peak as the garden is closed and being restored for a big opening next year. I picked up this image through a "back door" to the nemours.org site which is currently shut down as well. A 300-acre garden all in the French style! Those DuPonts did not do anything in a small way, did they?
