| Peanut Seedlings |
This week at the community garden plot, we had blazing temperatures and then finally a good soaking rain last night. It came with some damaging winds in the area with many folks losing power last night, but the plot looks okay.
The peanuts planted last week in a container are already germinated and growing by leaps and bounds. The cosmos and seedlings are all up as well.
The interns planted two kinds of marigold seeds by the peppers and tomatoes a few days ago, so I hope those all emerge soon.
Celosia reseeded itself where the potatoes are planted. I will leave them there for now.
The swiss chard looks ready for a first harvest soon and I still haven't gotten the okra seeds in. Maybe next week.
