Garden Bloggers' Bloom Day: Windy March

It has been so windy here for the past few days that this is the only decent photo I have been able to get from all the blooms in my garden for this monthly Garden Bloggers' Bloom Day post.

This is an Iris Reticulata 'Harmony.'
Also in bloom now in my zone 7 DC/MD border garden are:
~ Viola
~ Primrose
~ Daffodils 'Tete a Tete'
~ Daffodils 'February Gold'
~ Daffodils 'Ice Follies'
~ Hellebores
~ Crocus 'Pickwick'
~ Crocus 'Remembrance'
~ Snowdrops common sp.
~ Winter Jasmine (still!)
~ Heather
~ Nemesia 'Poetry Blue'*
~ Pansy 'Cool Wave Purple'*
~ Pansy 'Cool Wave Golden Yellow'*

So what is blooming in YOUR garden today?

*I'm trialing these cool-season annuals for PanAmerican Seed.

  1. Still hellebores, crocus in the lawn, pansies, and sweet box. The daffs are up but not blooming. I saw forsythia blooming on the UMD-College Park campus yesterday!

  2. What's blooming in my gardens? Mostly only the Promise of Spring... with one sweet surprise.

  3. My Harmony was blooming here last month but I've still a few buds left to open. We had some late snow and it kind of set things back a bit!
Harmony is a beauty isn't it?

  4. Our first daffodils bloomed today! We planted 150 last fall. Can't wait to see them scattered around the garden.

  5. Gorgeous Iris. It looks like you've got quite a few signs of Spring in your garden right now.

  7. There are a few daffodils open, but everything else is biding its time for warmer days!
