Video Wednesday: Super-Easy Seed Saving

Super-Easy Seed Saving with Washington Gardener Magazine. Here we are demonstrating seed collecting from a variety of flowering plants and herbs including basil, bronze fennel, marigolds, echinacea, and more.

Now is the ideal time to save seeds in the Mid-Atlantic and I hope you will attend our Seed Exchanges next year and share your seeds with us! Save these dates:

Kathy, NOVEMBER 2 Meeting of Metropolitan Washington Garden Club: Cheval Force-Opp will take us on a tour of four magnificent plant collections; Mt. Cuba in Delaware, Rawlings Botannical in Maryland, Maymount in Virginia and Gotelli Conifers in Washington, D. C. Here is your chance to view up close these beautiful properties with a gardener who is passionate about sharing gardens, writing about gardens and learning the history of gardens. Her delightful and informative articles on a myriad of gardening topics appear regularly in the Washington Gardener Magazine. She is presently collaborating with Editor Kathy Jentz to produce an e-book of all of the Magazine’s day trip articles and is also working on a second draft of a historical novel about George Washington’s gardener William Spence. Do come and bring a friend. Betty Walters
